Webinar Terms & Conditions

Agreement to Terms & Conditions

Once you have submitted your payment for the webinar, you are considered to have accepted the terms and conditions as set out below.

Prices & payment terms

Webinar fees can be found in the product description. During the order process, the customer can choose among the available methods of payment. If third parties are used to process payment, e.g. PayPal (https://www.paypal.com), their general terms and conditions shall apply.

After payment is received, the invoice shall be sent to the customer’s e-mail address stated at the time of booking. Webinar payment is to be made immediately upon receiving the invoice. Once Dr Sarah Whyte receives the customer's payment, the Zoom link and any other relevant information for the webinar will be sent to the customer’s email adddress.

The customer agrees to keep this data safe, not to pass it on to unauthorised third parties, and to prevent third parties from gaining access to it. The customer further agrees to ensure that the data they provide is kept up to date, especially their contact details.

Cancellation & no-shows

The customer may cancel their webinar registration up to 4 working days prior to the event to receive a full refund. If the customer cancels after that time, the participation fee shall not be refunded. If a recording is produced, this will be made available for customers who were not able to attend the live recording.

Instead of cancelling, customers who are unable to attend may appoint a substitute who takes over all rights.

If for any reason, Dr Sarah Whyte has to cancel the webinar, a notification email will be sent as soon as possible. Customers will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to attend the same webinar at a rescheduled date and time if that is available.

Customers who do not log in at any point during the webinar are classed as a no-show. No-shows forfeit their webinar fee but will be offered access to a recording if one is available.

Technical requirements for participation in live webinars

Webinar participation may require you to configure your software settings on your device upon first use, or require you to download the software for your operating system. Please note that you may require administrator privileges on your computer to be able to manually install software.

When taking part in a live webinar, each customer must meet the minimum requirements (internet connection, current browser version, download a program from the webinar platform if necessary, speakers or headset if required) and ensure these are tested and in good working before the webinar.

Failure to meet these technical requirements does not release the customer from the contractual obligation to pay. If a customer has logged in to the webinar, participation shall be considered to have taken place.

Webinar recordings

Zoom includes a feature that allows audio, video and any documents and other materials exchanged or viewed in the main room during the session to be recorded. Breakout rooms are not recorded. By joining a session, you automatically consent to such recordings. If you do not consent to the recording, please contact Dr Sarah Whyte to discuss your concerns at least 4 working days before the webinar date.

Webinar recordings will only be made available to attendees if they are unable to attend the live session. The webinar recording will be available to view for one month after the webinar delivery date.
